On Saturday, March 9th, 13 mixed show choirs and 3 womens show choirs traveled to Wheaton, IL for the renowned Choral Classic. This event has been a hot spot for show choirs for as long as people can remember. It never fails to amaze the spectators with the amount of talent that runs through the stage.
The day kicked off with the Women's Division participants. After the three of them performed, the mixed division kicked off right away!! The talent kept growing throughout the day with groups traveling in from all across the country.
Defending champions, "Titan Fever" closed out the daytime competition right before WWS "Espirit" presented their A-M-A-Z-I-N-G show. The daytime awards ceremony followed after WWS's exhibition performance.

This is Wheaton North's 4th Grand Championship of the year. The group has never won the Choral Classic, until this year. The groups has worked very hard and put a great amount of effort into this show.
The group also earned 1st RU at Mt. Zion's "Midwest Invitational," falling just short of Glenwood's "Titan Fever." "Titan Fever" and "Flight" have gone up against each other 3 times this year, with Glenwood winning once and Wheaton North winning twice. The last time "Flight" placed higher than Glenwood was in Decatur 2015.
The group is now finished for the season, and what better way to end the season than a Grand Champion?
Congrats on a G-R-E-A-T season "Flight"
