On Saturday, March 16th, Decatur's "Elite Energy" hosted their annual "Premiere Show Choir Invitational" at Millikin University. The day was jam packed full of great performance only allowing groups to perform once. The event turned out to be a great turn-up between Indiana, Illinois, and Wisconsin show choirs. This was a one-and-done competition due to all the groups competing. 8 Varsity, 7 Womens, and 5 Single-Gender Division groups competed. Many of these groups have competed before already this season. When awards came out, the audience was kind of shocked at the results. Going into this competition, nobody could really predict exactly how this was going to go due to prior competitions. You can see the full results below: Prep Division: Grand Champion: Peoria Area "Soundwave" (BV, BC) 1st Runner-Up: Mt. Zion "Premiere" 2nd Runner-Up: Craig "Illuminations" Single-Gender Division: Grand Champion: Center Grove "Debt...
